01 / IDEAL DECIMAL TRANSFER

Link-time lower bound

Convert a decimal file size and a stated link rate into an ideal transfer-time lower bound. This is not a measured speed or completion-time prediction.

Seconds = decimal GB × 8 ÷ Gbit/s. GB means one billion bytes; GiB is different. Protocol overhead, storage speed, shared traffic and encoding reduce effective throughput.
02 / STRAIGHT-LINE WIDTH BUDGET

Keyboard and mouse space

Enter measured widths in millimetres. The result is a one-dimensional budget, with no claim about posture, comfort, depth, cable clearance or the suitability of a particular desk.

Remaining width = desk − keyboard − chosen mouse zone − other gaps. The example keyboard width is a documented MX Keys S dimension; the desk and movement-zone amounts are hypothetical.
03 / YOUR COMPLETE QUOTE

Peripheral purchase total

Enter actual seller-quoted amounts once. The preset amounts are hypothetical arithmetic examples, not current prices. Tax is an entered amount, not an assumed legal rate.

Products + required accessories + delivery + entered tax. Compare warranty, return eligibility, return shipping, receiver inclusion and power supplies separately; an unknown charge is not zero.
